GROWING TULSI (BASIL) IN YOUR OWN HOME GARDEN

Flowers spread fragrance only when they bloom. But every part of the tulsi plant has fragrance, its leaves, stem and roots. Even the soil in which it is planted acquires the scent of the herb. It is easy to grow basil at home. Nothing like clipping fresh basil leaves from the garden and running back to the kitchen to add it in cooking, or, to use it in puja rituals. Growing tulsi at home means it is free from chemicals, fresh and above all; an outcome of your own efforts. Tulsi is a simple herb and a great addition to the kitchen window sill.
