Grilled chicken with olive oil & herbs

Aromatic herbs seem to get into action in this recipe. A chicken recipe with lemon, garlic and herb marinade – simple, fresh and sustainable

2 lemons juiced (about 1/4 cup)
¼ cup Azafran Extra Virgin Olive Oil infused with basil
1 tsp Basil; dried
1 tsp Oregano; dried
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Black pepper
4 Garlic cloves; crushed
4 Boneless skinless chicken breasts


In a small bowl add the lime juice, basil, olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper. Keep it aside.

Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Marinade for 30 minutes.

Heat the grill over 400° F. Grill the chicken 5 to 7 minutes on each side.

Remove from grill and let it become warm before serving. Put in on top of salads, pasta dishes or chicken noodle soup. Goes well with just about anything.

Kitchen Tip Keeping the chicken in medium heat will help to seal the juices in the chicken breast.
