Ragi Kanji Porridge

A wholesome, healthy breakfast loaded with gluten-free ingredients, this Ragi kanji makes a perfect breakfast.


4 tablespoons ragi flour

1 cup water

Buttermilk as required

Salt to taste


  1. Mix the flour with water.
  2. Cook in medium flame, stirring consistently.
  3. Once the flour reaches a thick glossy consistency, switch off the flame.
  4. Allow it to cool.
  5. Heat little oil in a pan, add cumin and curry leaves. Once they splutter
    turn off the heat and add this to the porridge.
  6. Add salt and buttermilk.
