2 Cup Besan
1.5 Cup Spinach, chopped
1 Onions, thinly sliced
2 Green chilies, finely chopped
1 Tablespoon Peanuts, roasted and finely chopped
1 Teaspoon Ajwain/Carom seeds
1 Teaspoon Red chili powder
1 Tablespoon Garam masala
1 Cup Mint and Corriander leaves, finely chopped
1 Tablespoon Oregano
1 Tablespoon Lime juice
2 Tablespoon Azafran’s Garlic Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt to taste
Water as required
Take a bowl where in all the ingredients will be mixed. Make sure you take a big one.
Start with Besan. Add chopped spinach first, then onions, green chilies, roasted peanuts, ajwain, red chili powder, garam masala, mint, coriander leaves, oregano, salt, lime juice and Azafran’s EVOO.
Now add the required amount of water and mix everything well.
Now, take a pan and put oil in it, put it on low flame.
When the oil is hot enough, drop the spoonfuls of the batter in to and let it fry until golden brown.
While taking it out, make sure, it is taken out on the tissue first. This way, the extra oil will be absorbed by the tissue.
Serve the tasty Palak Pakoras with any chutney or just a hot cup of tea.
