A beautifully presented salad to start a meal or for a lighter bite. The succulence of melon is a great contrast to the richness of the cheese and pomegranate pearls. Bonus point is that the recipe doesn’t actually involve cooking, just mixing a bunch of yummy stuff together.  Spicy melon salad recipe is ready in a flash and doesn’t require you to heat up anything.

200 g Watermelon
200 g Muskmelon
30 g Pomegranate Pearls
20 g Basil
10 ml Lemon
10 g grated Parmesan cheese
20 ml Azafran’s Bird’s eye chilli infused extra virgin olive oil
10 ml Honey
2 gm Pepper corn
1 g Chili flakes
Salt as per taste


Cut fresh water melon and musk melon in cubes.
Add salt, crushed pepper ,chili flakes & lemon juice.

Add the cut basil leaves and grated cheese.

Whisk together lime juice, olive oil and honey until honey is dissolved. Drizzle it over the salad.

Garnish with pomegranate pearls and grated cheese.
